Winemaker Notes
Concentrated and lush, this opaque and inky wine starts with touches of cacao and roasted coffee bean on the nose. The decadent aromatics are followed by dark and jammy flavors of boysenberry, blackberry, and blueberries, picked ripe off the vine. Silky and luxurious in texture, the wine embraces your senses with a cozy familiarity. And the finish, ample and complex after aging in American oak for 12 months, is full of spicy vanilla and sweet clove lingering long after the last sip.
This versatile wine pairs well with a variety of foods like smoked lamb shoulder with rosemary, braised short ribs with blackberry barbecue sauce, and smoked gouda cheese.

COMMENTARY: The Bogle Family Vineyards Petite Sirah has always been my favorite wine from this winery. TASTING NOTES: The 2021 vintage offers aromas and flavors of licorice, black fruits, and generous grapeiness. Serve it with an old-fashioned beef stew. (Tasted: June 1, 2023, San Francisco, CA)

A total bang-for-the-buck, this wine shows great depth of flavor, with notes of blackberry bush, black pepper, fennel, tinned black olive, pill box, star anise and cacao. The palate is generously filled with mouthcoating tannins, adding a structural backbone against the alcohol. The perfect companion to any hearty meal.
